Jordan Deschamps-Braly, MD
Dr. Deschamps-Braly is a Board Certified plastic and craniofacial surgeon at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital in Oakland. He is also a clinical assistant professor of plastic surgery at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. Dr. Deschamps-Braly graduated from University of Oklahoma College of Medicine followed by general surgery and plastic surgery training at the same hospital. He then completed a craniofacial surgery fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with Dr. Arlen Denny.
Dr. Deschamps-Braly then went on to do even further training in craniofacial and plastic surgery in Paris, France, as a fellow of Dr. Daniel Marchac – a pioneer of craniofacial surgery. Subsequently, he undertook a fellowship in Zurich, Switzerland at University Hospital Zurich with Professor Joachim Obwegeser in craniomaxillofacial surgery with a strong emphasis on orthognathic (corrective jaw) surgery.
DrDeschamps-Braly has been at California Pacific Medical Center, San Francisco, and UCSF Children’s Hospital in Oakland since 2012. He is one of the first surgeons in the United States to adapt advanced 3D surgical simulations using virtual surgical planning for aesthetic contouring of the craniofacial skeleton in adults, and adapting this technology to cranial vault surgery in children.
Most recently, Dr. Deschamps-Braly has had the privilege of continuing the practice of Douglas Ousterhout, MD, DDS. Dr. Ousterhout, the pioneer of facial feminization (and masculinization) has been practicing plastic surgery in San Francisco since July 1973, making their practice one of the oldest continuing plastic surgery practices on the west coast.
