Board certified in Plastic Surgery, Dr. Joel Beck brings the highest standards of integrity and medical excellence to helping clients enhance the natural beauty of their body, breasts, face and skin. His surgical expertise, aesthetic sensibility and sound judgment have earned him an international reputation for providing patients with fresh, natural looking results.
Dr. Beck's extensive training includes research and clinical experience in burn surgery, a fellowship in craniofacial surgery and advanced plastic surgery and reconstructive training. Although Bay Area Aesthetic Surgery is almost exclusively dedicated to aesthetic procedures, Dr. Beck’s background in micro surgery and reconstructive surgery bring valuable insight to understanding anatomy, spatial relationships and healing - all critical in achieving outstanding results.
After receiving his Bachelor of Science from California Polytechnic State University in 1992, Dr. Beck completed a surgical residency at University of California Davis in 1999. He continued to pursue his education and training even further, completing a Fellowship in Burn Surgery Research in 2000 at UC Davis, and a Craniofacial-Plastic Surgery Fellowship and a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency at University of Mississippi in 2003. Dr. Beck is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and maintains membership in several prestigious plastic surgery associations, including:
